Ellen is a member of a number of dog training associations including the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT No. 01465), Institute of Modern Dog Trainers, a student member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Councellors and is working towards her Kennel Club Accredited Instructor status.

Ellen has a foundation degree in Animal Behaviour & Training and will graduate in May 2022 with a BSc (Hons) from Bishop Burton. Prior to undertaking her degree, Ellen graduated with at CBST with the Companion Animal Science Institute.

As you can tell, the role of head trainer is more than a job. Assisting owners & their dogs is a huge part of Ellen's life, it is a passion.

Alongside The Woof Pack, Ellen runs The Urban Herder- the herding breed specialist that assists owners of herding breeds to help their dogs thrive in the busy, urban environment. When not working Ellen enjoys wild swimming, long walks with a nice pub at the end, training her collies on sheep and heelwork to music with Piper.

Bethany Duranti
Admin, Virtual Support & Trainer
BSc (Hons)

Beth provides virtual support for The Woof Pack Dog Training and Behaviour. Piror to joining the team Beth delivered training classes for Dog's Trust in West Yorkshire putting her BSc (Hons) in Applied Animal Behaviour and Training to good use.

When not working Beth spends her time chasing around her two young children, Ethan and Eliza. If the hours in the day permit, she also enjoys a long walk with the four dogs and hoopers.

My favourite time of the year is Spring into the Summer months, the longer and brighter days mean I can enjoy sunset walks with my dogs.

Clare Bowen
Dog Walker & Assistant Trainer

Clare joined the Woof Pack Team in 2021 as a volunteer before taking over the dog walking services for the business. When not out with packs of dogs exploring the moorland and views in Calderdale you can find Clare at our classes, learning the ropes of dog training.

In her spare time Clare enjoys travelling the UK with her husband and their cocker spaniels, Max and Patch seeing all the views and dog friendly experiences that the country has to offer.

Clare is working towards her accreditation as a dog trainer, keep your eyes peeled!
